More detailed information about the avalanche: 

Apparent cornice fall on East aspect of Nyack Mountain. Triggered slab just below cornice at approximately 7,200 ft.  Avalanche poured over convexity at approximately 6,000 feet and triggered another slab with crown depth exceeding 5 feet. Avalanche continued to lake. Upper crown is visible in picture.
