Motorized Intro to Avalanches
Get your hands in the snow. Gain familiarity with essential concepts and practices for safe winter travel. This 11 hour course will cover the basics of Avalanche Education. You will have a 3 hour classroom session, followed by an 8 hour day in the field. Your own snowmobile (or snowbike) and transportation is required, along with a working avalanche tranciever, shovel (no plastic blades) and probe.
