Quick Observation

Toured from the s fork trailhead up the east side trail to around 5,000 ft or so.  Snow and light winds dropped two inches or so by 3 pm.  Didn’t make it out of the trees but saw small wind lips forming along the power lines trail, some of which were cracking in the new snow.  Crunchy skiing with surprising shelter from the wind.  Not much to report other than great skiing if you have low expectations.
