Jumped off the resort today to investigate recent windloading and check on the groundhog day layer. Dug a pit at 6800' on a NE aspect, just below the radiotower ridgeline on a 37 degree slope. Total snow depth 260 cms. Surface snow was light and uncohesive, first density change 30 cms from surface, and the groundhog day crust was found 70 cms from surface.
ECT result of note: ECTP 14 Q1, 70 cm from surface on facets nearly 1 cm in size.
