The only Blizzards we found were at Dairy Queen

Windshield tour of southerly and westerly aspects of Swan, Apgar, and Lake McDonald showed numerous destructive wet avalanches that appeared to run in the past 24 hours or less, most likely today: 

• D3 wet loose to ground off of Stanton 
• D3 wet slab, D3 and D2 wet loose to ground off of Apgar Range 
• D2.5 wet slab to ground off of Blaine Mtn
• 3 wet loose and 1 wet slab to the ground, D2.5 on Peter’s Ridge. Glide cracks opening 10-15 ft since yesterday.
• 2 D.5 wet loose and a wet slab near Noisy Creek
• 2 x D3, 1x D2 wet slabs and a few D2.5 wet loose to the ground near Crater Mtn.
• Reports of 2 fresh debris piles that crossed Canyon Creek Road below Skook Chutes that broke trees, a slide that crossed a road in the Swan, and a skier triggered D2 wet loose near WMR.

We saw numerous large to very large slides that ran earlier in the week as well. There were also dozens of smaller loose wet avalanches that involved surface layers; these are more difficult to pin a failure date on, but certainly in the last week.
