Ran off in gully coming off Cascade/ Rescue ridge. Debris ran to lower track., covering older debris but not running as far. Appeared to start 5-5500 feet.

Natural slab avalanche from steep, northwesterly slope at edge of main avalanche path off Nyack Mountain. Ran down to flats, about 1000 feet. Debris was rounded wet debris, but guessing it started dry and picked up wet snow in gully.

Ran naturally between the time we skinned past the bottom of the gully. Looked to have been triggered by snow falling from trees; debris ran into confined gully and out to flats below. One similar but smaller slide just upslope.
