Very little snow on the south aspect of Little-dog and Summit found on the climb to saddle. Snowpack varied wildly between bare scree and deep drifts in gullies. No observation of collapses or other snowpack instability, so we felt comfortable descending on gullies at high elevations. Light snow started around 1pm. Snowpit dug on leeward south aspect around 7,000 feet. No propagation in ECT.
Ascended from Marias Pass up wind-scoured ribs to saddle between Little Dog and Summit, summited Little Dog Mountain. Descended on wind-deposited gullies.
