Went back and recycled the work from yesterday. about 1" new overnight. We skied into and in and around rescue. Finding stable powder of varying depth, 2-18". Minimal to no sluffing on steeper features, no storm or wind slabs. It appeared the NE of penrose was triggered by a cornice failure, D1.5? Didn't even run to drainage bottom and the debris was soft. Must have occurred in the last 24-48 hours. Weather was mild, light snow to sun breaks, minimal wind, no appreciable transport
