Oh-Be-Joyful

My Nyack mayoral campaign bus made a stop in the Middle Fork to allow me to speak with constituents. A surprisingly good time was had by all.

• Moist surface snow was found in the dense forest and on the open valley floor. This snow has been worked over by recent warming and did not produce rollerballs or wet loose activity.
• Although technically not corn, it skied similar to on low angle southerly aspects. We were nearly ecstatic with the forgiving conditions. 
• Moderate winds at ridgeline elevations resulted in moderate wind transport. Occasionally, these winds would mix down to the low and mid-elevations and spank us with ice pellets.
• One D2 wet loose slide on a southerly aspect from the 2/29/20 warming was investigated. This slide packed a punch and gouged sidewalls in the valley floor after a ~1000' run.
