Spent Wednesday night camped in the Sperry Chalet Basin. Clear walking Wednesday, then the storm blew in wet early evening with wet and dense snow. This switched over too a mix of snow and rain for most of te night until switching over to snow as the temperatures dropped in the morning. Dry snow with a lot of graupel started in the morning and was coming down at a rate of over 2 inches an hour at times. We felt comfortable skiing 35 degree slopes, storm slabs of 4 inches and greater were beginning to form on the crust below as we left. Minimal wind the entire time, when it was present it would be light and out of the southwest. We saw one D2 wet loose slide at leasa a day old as we entered the basin on Wednesday on a SW aspect.
