Avalanche Location:
Myself and two rangers began a crosscountry ski trip on 02/21/21 up the Going To The Sun Road where we spent two nights in the BC.
Today 02/23/21, we observed a big slide across the road that was not there on our way in. The slide was large enough to slide over Lake McDonald Creek and across the road.
We could not see how far up the avalanche may have been triggered from.
