Quick Observation

Active windloading on ridge tops and even below ridge tops in the trees kept me in a very conservative mindset.  Stayed far away from anything steep.. no travel under, over or thru anything above 30.  Stomped a small, soft ski sized cornice onto a N aspect with no results.  Took two laps and decided to head back to the safe side of the ropes.  Active loading, new snow, known weak layers.. odds were not in my favor today.
