Toured up to the knob above Elk Spring to look for some dry snow before the warm up this week. Found about 6cm of new snow and graupel from the recent snow showers above the 2/23 graupel storm layer. Snowpack is getting more dense for sure but still good skiing. Snowfall diminished throughout the day. S1 in the morning then S-1 with some graupel in the early afternoon. Winds were moderate from the SW with transported snow filling the skin track in some very isolated spots between laps. OVC all day with some very light rime whenever a cloud engulfed the area. Stuck to terrain below 30 deg.
