Traveled around jewel basin under sunny Saturday skies. Snow was wet at all elevations, didn't freeze overnight. Thankfully a cool wind kept the surface snow from misbehaving too terribly. Minimal roller balls and wet loose activity. We skied upper elevation shaded slopes with no instabilities under foot. Solar aspects baked and were very mushy. Noted one large slab avalanche at an upper elevation east facing slope, see pic.
