Quick outing to assess access for spring field work:
3-6 inches of dry snow on top of melt-freeze crust. This became cohesive in the afternoon where exposed to the sun.
Crust on Northerly aspects ranged from over 1' at 5500' down to 4" at 6500'.
South aspects were pretty well burned off up to 5500'
Sheltered segments of the road on South aspects were still holding up to 2 ft of snow.
Northerly aspects at 5000' had 3' of snow.
Road had several debris piles including a D3 reported earlier this season.
Noted one glide crack on Southwest aspect
