Snowmobiling in China Basin. 5800-6600'.

12-24" of dense, heavy snow. Below this layer the snow is much lighter and less dense.

We stayed on slopes of <25 degrees all day.

There were shooting cracks everywhere.

Snowed all day. Started wet and heavy and got wetter and heavier. The wind blew hard all day with gusts estimated to be 40mph+.Visibility was poor to marginal. Temps warmed all day.
