Quick Observation

The day started fogged in and the sun came out around 1pm.  Didnt see any rain crust at lower elevations.  We dug a pit at 6,650' west facing, ECT-13 with no propagation 40cm down on the storm slab.  Snow Depth in the pit lcoation was 210cm.  We saw mostly wind affected snow in open areas, and the sheltered tress were still holding the pow but some areas are affected from tree bombs.  Didn't see any natural avalanches, no sluffing, no whumpfing, no cracking.  Skiing was silky smooth in the trees!
