Quick Observation

Out in the McDonald area, reloading a few carnivore bait stations.

  • Snow was moist up to 4800 by late afternoon and moist/dry up to our high point of 5200 (Snyder Lake)
  • Observed numerous slopes with widerspread roller ball activity. Steep (35+) SE - E aspects. 5200-5800. None greater than D1.
  • Winds were calm most of the day. Calm/light from the South near Snyder Lake around 230pm.
  • Not much to report in the way downhill skiing conditions as we traveled mostly on trail. Sperry trail is skiing fast and has good coverage, by sperry trail standards, epecially compared to last year.
