Quick Observation

Quick tour into Tranquil Basin.  Skied east and north aspects at roughly 7,000 ft.  The snow quality on these aspects was surprisingly better than expected.  No signs of instability.  Surface hoar found only on sheltered north aspects where it was 3mm+.  Similarly, wind effect observed on all but sheltered north aspect.
