Large avalanche viewed from the top of Tunnel Ridge, not sure when it occurred. Viewed from other side of glacier valley from Mt Grant, so hard to judge size but appeared to be significant.
Observed Saturday about 14:00. Date of avalanche provisional until we learn more details. Likely a hard slab that failed on weak facet/ melt-freez crust near the ground, though glide cracks above the crown and rock slab bed surface suggest it may have been a glide slab.
