Dug a pit at 6500' N aspect and found a DEEP snowpack (400+ cm)! 85cm of new snow over the past 10 days with a mid-storm graupel layer buried 50cm from the surface above our most recent rain crust. ECTN30 @ 50cm from surface on buried graupel, CT12 Q2 @ 25cm from surface on minor density change, CT17 Q2 @ 50cm from surface on buried graupel.

Did not notice much snow being transported by the consistently moderate NE winds.

We also triggered a couple of small, predictable, and manageable wet slides below 5k' as we descended into Rescue Creek.  The sluffs broke out slowly and only from underfoot/ski cuts on slopes above 30 degrees.

Noticed a handful of small natural slides. On solar aspects many small point releases had released over the past few days... On northerly aspects we saw a handful of natural crowns of small wind slabs on both Nyak and Penrose.
