Dug to the ground on a northwest facing slope of 38 degrees. Total depth of 160 cm. Lots of unconsolidated snow in the top 40 cm with no obvious slab formation. Only layer of note (besides the crust @ 140 cm down) was a layer of 1-2 mm facets 80 cm down. Results were ECTP 25 Q1, very energetic at failure. Seems like this could be an issue if we were to receive a ton of new snow. Slab above this layer was 4 finger density, below was 1 finger. Great skiing.
