Snowmobile up Desert Mtn, to the repeater site.
Dug a pit on NE aspect (20*) without results of propagation.
No signs of recent Avalanche activity.
Difficult off-trail snowmobiling with base-less snowpack and deep powder snow.

More comments about the snowpack and weather:
ECTN-4 @ 130cm, 11 @ 110cm, 14 @ 95cm (Q3 at best). No full propagation, just storm snow collapse. Turkey Day crust 10-14cm thick at surface in this area on this aspect. NO recent signs of avalanche instabilities. Surface snow above and below Turkey Crust was snowball consistency. Difficult off trail snowmobiling with very deep, baseless powder.
