Extensive avalanche activity from the last few days. Most paths had D2 debris piles below them, one D3. Crowns were no longer visible.
We skied on a number of relatively small steep rollovers and could not produce any signs of instability other than minor sluffing. The storm snow appears to be settling right side up here, with a low density finish with the last 10". Above ~5500 feet, there were signs of previous wind transport mid-storm and a stiffer storm slab, but we still could not produce signs of instability on rollovers, although we did not venture far into wind affected terrain.
Persistent slab structures in steep terrain were highly variable due to previous avalanches.
