More comments about the snowpack and weather:
A lot of drifting on the ridges making the Canyon Cr side the leeward side. This surprised use given the north winds on 2/5. The snow on the ridge tops was drifted and wind pressed. However, down about 60-80 vertical feet it became uniformly soft and not slabby. We did not experience slumping, cracking, or auditory cues on any aspect. We skied steeper terrain without alarms (35-40).
