went to the eastside in hopes for a sunnier day, but were met with mostly cloudy skies with high winds, snow squalls and wind board and wind slabs and generally upside down snow pack. thankfully these were non reactive and didn't seem to hold any energy. most slopes at elevation held 10-16" of new snow. no naturals, no reactivity to skiing or skinning up to 35 degree slopes on S and E aspects. no evidence of solar warming until nearly back to car.
