Quick Observation

We toured up cascade creek. We observed very minor cracking along the ridge between cascade and rescue, above 5500 feet. Great skiing with stable snow in cascade creek.

Looking into rescue creek, we could see a small pile of debris at the bottom of the relief in the runout (still above the rescue creek) from the northeastern side of Nyack Mtn (slide path running basically due north).  When light improved we were able to see a crown just below the ridge (black line on photo). We thought we could see a crown going to the other direction, but it was more filled in hard harder to make out.
