Went for a quick tour up above Going to the Sun Road to look into Red Rocks slidepath to assess safety for the road crew.

- Supportable re-freeze crust begins at ~4000' and thickens with elevation

- Solid cloud deck at ~6000' held all day with limited visibility below that throughout the tour

- Temps held right near freezing with S-1 (and spurts of S2) snowfall throughout the tour

- Observed widespread evidence of Loose/Wet avalanche cycle from Saturday's rain-on-snow event

- Dug a quick pit to look a little deeper - HS280 - Dug 200cm down - moist/re-frozen in top 50cm

- Constant light SW winds with regular gusting in the moderate
