toured and skied around the flanks of great northern as clouds kept things socked in until the end of the day.
above 6k we found a variety of snow depth from wind scoured to 2-3 feet deep. a couple observations to note: 1. reactive wind slabs were found and intentionally triggered, running several hundred feet, on NW aspect. 2. facets were found on solar aspects in open terrain 3. additionally, a light sun crust was forming on solar aspects in open terrain in the afternoon
