Route Description:

Pinnacle/Tunnel Creek on FS Road 1638. Ski up FS road for about 3 miles to the end and then another mile to open ridge.

More comments about the snowpack and weather:

about 2 inches on road and then maybe as deep as 12 inches higher up. Walked to ridge because there was not enough snow to cover willows and downed trees and to descent on country skis needs more snow. Turned around when we reached open ridge.
