Quick tour out to Kona today. We found a semi-supportable sun crust on solar aspects and recycled powder on protected northerly slopes above 5200'. While out, there were light northerly winds, gusting into the moderate, and constant snowfall up to 2cm/hour. There was no cohesive slab yet, but it seems quite possible by tomorrow given the snow available for transport and the winds. We had managable sluffing on slopes above 35 degrees and observed no obvious signs of instability.
Also of note, there is a glide crack (~50'?) formed near the top of the eastern Skook Chutes... maybe from the recent warmth and sunshine?
