Dry, skiable snow on all aspects above 5000 ft yesterday. No wind/sun effect noted on snow surfaces. Cloud level was around 6000 all morning and visibility was fair. Dug down briefly on skin track and found new snow, crust, and dry/cohesive snow above October base (in descending order) for a consistent 2-3 feet in mid elevations.
Toured up east side route and cut out of bounds below chair 5 so as to comply with 14 day rule. Easy to follow tracks and a good base made for good travel conditions.
