Short tour with the Patrol Avy 1 class today up to Skook ridge with the goal of staying out of avalanche terrain, investigating the recent storm effect, and skiing low angle sheltered terrain. Wind effected snow noted on the skin track more so on the exposed west and southwest slopes; with large wind lips near the top. Pit on the north side of the ridge at ~6750 with propagating ECT results with hard force, ~ 45cm down, likely on the old snow/new snow interface. HS 235. Groovy ski back down the west trees along the skin track, with the trees still harboring smooth, soft turns.
