Quick Observation

Toured up into the Apgar to see how the cornices were shaping up. We found only baby cornices on our ridge line with some wind effect.

About 10cm of fresh, low-density snow fell overnight.

The snow pack appeared to be right side up with only a few, healing layers. We found a snow depth of 105cm at 5900' on a ENE facing slope. We found two layers of concern, one around 50cm (STM@50cm) and one around 95cm (ECTN25). Upon inspection both revealed rounded tiny (.5mm) facets but neither of which seemed particularly excitable.
