Watch out for avalanche debris all through Half Moon Slide area east of Whitefish Mountain Resort. Couldnt tell if they ran naturally or were rider-triggered but appears to be a series of wet slides from the warm afternoon yesterday Thursday Feb. 10th. I rode in this same area yesterday around 1pm and saw no signs of avalanche activity so must have occurred at some time after that. Debris was large and widespread and surface was very hard. Wouldnt recommend travel through half moon for the next few days.
