We stoped and dug a quick pit to see what was going on in the pack since we had not been to this area. No red flags. Performed a CT. The new plus transported snow coalpsed (top 25cm) without a linear sheer propargation (Q3). We pulled the whole block out with a shovel sheer (STM). Noticed the rain crust and that it was not reactive to our test. We were on a 32 degree slope. There were multiple tracks on the low angle tree slopes we skied. Those tracks had a combination of new and wind transpoted snow filling them. Low angle pow noodleing.
Lift served up. Skied over to Big Radio towers. Skied down to Taylor Creek road and over to hike for few laps on Hell roaring .
