20 degrees in a.m. W winds 10-15 brisk on ridge, some light snow transport, then calming to ~5 by 1500. (For Marias standards a day at the beach.) Temp rose to 24 by the time we returned to car. Snow squalls, clouds, sun. 8" light snow on supportable crust, good skiing, good stability, good coverage. Evidence of hard west winds, quite a few pillows, striations across slopes west to east. Stayed out of gullies, and avoided growing cornices. Very pleasant day to be outside.
