Hiked up to get some observations in preparation for a busy Sunday and the Flathead Nordic Backcountry Patrol awareness event at Flowerpoint. Dig two pits just off top of ridgeline and down a bit. First pit at SW aspect had 260 cm total depth. CT25 @ 30cm depth on facets. Second pit on east aspect had 300 cm depth. CT18 @ 50cm depth on similar facet layer. Upper 10-15 cm sluffed easily.
