We went on a nice walk in the central middle fork area looking for the goods. An attempt on a north aspect yielded variable conditions with some loose wet chunder and tree bomb effect. We found good skiing between 7k and 6k on a South aspect with mediocre but fast skiing below that. The sun only stayed out until about noonish, a blessing!
We witnessed no red flags for avalanche danger, but saw much carnage from the most recent storm cycle. From our high point, it looked like anything in the alpine/subalpine that could have slid did.
