Checked out the snowpack at 6300 ft on a 32 degree SE facing slope. Total snowpack 160 cm. Column Results: Q1 CT15 soft slab at 15cm, Q1 CT18 2 finger slab (storm snow interface) at 40 cm, Q1 CT21 at 110cm on 2-4 mm facets (rounding) just above the Thanksgiving rain crust. Dec 19th ice lens at 100 cm is still super prominent but the slab was fairly glued on in this location. Extended Column Results: Q1 ECTP18 2 finger slab at 40cm. No propagation on the ice lens or Thanksgiving crust although I was able to shovel pry off the ECT at the Dec 19th ice lens with a clean shear. Still a sketchy looking snowpack although things are starting to heal up with facets rounding. Skiing is slightly upside down but fun. No major cracking or whumpfing on the uptrack in 1st Creek.
