same thing different day. snowed all morning but only about 1+" on the skin track overnight from yesterday. treated to sun breaks and calm winds at elevation. skied southerly and east aspects with some steeper pitches without signs of cracking, instability etc. two things to two note. first, east aspects did have 1-2" wind board, however no energy associated with these. second, on solar aspects getting sun we did experience some warming of the snow. however 90% of the skiing was the continued settled pow with cold smoke on top.
