Toured up Essex creek, skied mostly south facing dust on crust, 1-4 inches new snow/graupel mix. Saw no new avalanches but saw plenty of old ones, and debris piles especially from south facing wet slides. The crust was up to 7,800 probably higher. Got some pics of the Cameahwait slide (reported on 2/1).
