Ridge Mountain Academy headed out to Ghoulie today in search of some fresh turns.
We found good conditions early on south aspects, which had deteriorated to the uppermost elevations (wet surface texture by 13:00). North aspects held unaffected surface snow, with general distribution of the underlying melt/freeze crust around the rose. A quick pit showed hard force failures with no propogation (ECTN20 50cm down, CT21 Q3 40cm down) on a north aspect at roughly 6600ft.
