Dry snow from canyon floor to ridgetop at roughly 6500 ft. Surface hoar noted on east aspects. Cornices small but resistant to stomping. Probed depth of 190 cm at windlip around 6000-6500 ft where leeward aspect was east facing. Closer to root of cornice was around 90 cm. Remarkable views from Marias pass to Livingston range. Sunny and warm.
