Covered lots of ground snowmobiling Ten Lakes on Saturday between 5500 and 6500ft and found great soft snow on all aspects. 4-6" of fresh from Friday above 8-12" from earlier in the week. A few hasty hand pits revealed occasional facets below all the new snow in sheltered areas, but we observed no signs of current instability all day. (Several very steep east facing slopes had snowed over crown lines and debris) We sidehilled numerous slopes 30-35 degrees and rode small features with much steeper pitches and observed no cracking or slab releases. We did not get onto any alpine faces. Temps were mid 20's and skies were mostly cloudy with little wind.
