just confirming whats already known: -widespread surface hoar at elevation -no avalanche activity seen on any surrounding mountains -minimal wind, strong sunshine -variable crust on solar aspects with creamy surface now at elevation -heavy, punchy to lean down down. seems like around 5k the snowpack starts to change drastically
