Triggered on steep convexity from hard turn on adjacent slope (~30 feet away). Slab only a few inches thick. Digging in crown showed it failed in low-density fluff below new and wind-stiffened slab.

Avalanche Location:
DIdn't have to stomp like petulant childrem to trigger these. A kick or two on a freshly-drifted cornice and they released below. One propagated quite far - at least 75 feet away. Almost a remote trigger. Crowns thin, but only because loading had only been occurring for an hour or two and hadn't filled in a wide/thick slab much below cornice yet.
