Returned to Crystal Creek to assess temporal changes following a widely unstable day earlier this week in the same area. We found significant improvements, although the slab size is now up to 4 feet thick here. No cracking or collapsing while trailbreeaking in knee deep snow. The 12/15 facet layer has hardened to 4F and is rounding and smaller in size. In one pit location at 5500 ft, it was not producing propagation or clean shears in extended column and deep tap tests. Previous crowns are now disguised by subsequent snowfall, making it nearly impossible to identify which paths ran during the cycle without digging into the snow.
