We were taking a break from shredding the fresh deep powder in kimmerly basin when we watched an avalanche start just to the north of a cornice that has been holding all season. The cornice can be seen just to the left of the slide. The slide started within a half hour of the sun finally peaking through the clouds. Provided some perspective with the wide view and zoomed in view.
