Avalanche control at Teton Pass ski area produced a large avalanche in previously uncontrolled terrain.
Avalanche mitigation work on slopes above Teton Pass winter sports area. Released with large ANFO shot; smaller explosives didn't produce any results. Estimated to have run on snow from before the holidays. but strong winds kept snow workers from investigating the crown today.
